Obituary for MAGOFFE

Anthony "Tony" Magoffe, age 27, was born and raised in Albuquerque. Tony was an extraordinary athlete and was able to touch many lives. Tony was very passionate about his family and friends. He always lived for others and always enjoyed having his family and friends around him. Tony is survived by his wife, Ingrid; his boys, Anthony James "A.J." and Jimmy "Chubs"; his parents, Jim and Margaret Magoffe, "the neighbors"; brothers, Steve and Jamie; sisters, Cynthia and Tammy; nephews and niece, Steven James, Chelsea, Joseph Michael Anthony, Stanely Daniel, and Michael Dean; his Suegrita Linda, Silvia Arellano; father-in-law, Raul Arellano; Abuelita Grande, Yolanda Martinez Aude de Altamirano; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and several very close friends. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #49. He was employed by Yearout Mechanical as a Journeyman/Foreman in training. April 1, 2006 marked a new beginning for Tony, reuniting him with family and friends, above all, his grandpa, Stan who he loved and adored his whole life. Tony was a fighter and was very determined to be the very best. We will always love him and be proud of him and his accomplishments. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 6, 2006, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, April 7, 11:00 a.m., Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Tennessee at Lomas. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Magoffe Clingan, Jamie Magoffe, Steven James Clingan, Fernando Brambila, Chris Floyd, J. R. Colby, Justin Shaw, and Clay Lutz.
