Forrest Joseph Hobbs, 87, a former resident of St. Joseph, MO, died Friday, March 24, 2006, surrounded by his family, at his home in Belen, NM. He is survived by his wife, Irene Hobbs of Belen, NM; daughter, Beth Gaches and husband, Alfred of Shulter, OK; son, Joel Hobbs and wife, Claranita Williams of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Mark and Jennifer Gaches of Shulter, OK. Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia McBee of St. Joseph, MO. Mr. Hobbs ashes will be buried at the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, located at 26th and Lovers Lane, St. Joseph, MO. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, Belen, NM, on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., this will be followed at 1:00 p.m. by a Memorial Potluck Gathering at Vista Del Rio Park clubhouse on Highway 304, 1/2 mile from the Highway 47 and La Joya intersection.
