Obituary for DONLIN

B. Joseph Donlin (1958-2006) died peacefully and prayerfully at home Monday evening surrounded by family after a 10-month battle with cancer. He now watches over "the loves of (his) life" wife, Carol and eight-year-old son, Thomas. He is also survived by his mother, Ann Donlin of Arizona; his brother, Michael Donlin and family of California; and other beloved relatives and friends too numerous to mention. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Joe was a Knight of Columbus and a member of several professional organizations as well as a volunteer math/science tutor and science fair judge. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Donlin, and all of his grandparents. Viewing will be held Friday, March 31, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 1837 Alvarado NE, Albuquerque, with Rosary and Parastas immediately following. The Divine Liturgy (Mass) of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church at 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque. Funeral reception will be held back at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at approximately 1 p.m. Flowers may be sent either to Direct Services at 2919 4th Street NW or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
