Mary (Montoya) Lemons, age 81, passed away Thursday evening at the home of her son, Homer Dodge, Jr. She was born on May 14, 1924, at home at the San Juan Pueblo, NM. Mary is survived by her husband of more than 30 years, James Lemons; her son, Homer and his wife, Pat; granddaughter, Marina Vigil; grandsons Barry, Alex, and Christopher; and five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Gertie Sanchez, May Naranjo; and brother, Paul Montoya. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Severiano (Sid) and Ella Montoya; and two brothers, Sidney and Gene. Mary will be remembered as a loving life partner and wife, an understanding and supportive mother and an indulgent and present grandmother.
