Obituary for GALVAN

Richard Galvan, age 38, beloved father, son, and brother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Thursday, March 23, 2006. Richard was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Frankie Galvan; and by a brother, Louie (Lou) Galvan. Richard is survived by his precious children, Frankie, Richard, Samantha, and Joseph Galvan; the mother of his children, Emma Yazzie; his loving mother, Kathy A. Galvan; his sister, Joann Galvan and husband, Ernest; his grandmother, Nacha Galvan; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and other beloved family members and friends. Richard will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; where a Rosary for Richard will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Daniel Galvan, Johnny Galvan, Johnny Ray Fuentes, Richard Marquez, Eddie Atencio, David Llamas, and Leroy Medina.
