LUPE 1925-2006 Lupe Dodd, 81, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday March 17, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dodd Sr.; siblings, Socorro Torrez, Manuel Gonzalez, and Neives Gonzalez. Lupe is survived by her loving family, sons: John Dodd Jr. and his wife, Patty, and Jerry Dodd; daughter, Terry Duran and her husband, Leo; grandchildren, Monica Padilla and her husband Ron, Chariss Vigil and her husband Andres, Keith Sena and his fiancee, Sara Garrity, Samuel Sena, Leo C. Duran, Ashley Duran, Chantel Duran, Dana Dodd, Andrea Chappelle, John Matthew Vigil, Eric Dodd, and grandma's "little chulita" Diamond Shae Duran; great-grandchildren: Janessa Padilla, Jocelyn Padilla, Jennifer Padilla, Nico Vigil, Abraya Vigil, and Justin Mora. Lupe is also survived by many nieces and nephews, in particular Letty Smith, Gloria Aguilar, and David Villescas; sisters, Maria Villescas, Benjamin Chavez, and Martha Payan; and her brothers, Elias Gonzalez and Primo Gonzalez. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2006 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Hoffmantown Baptist Church, 8888 Harper NE with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Private family burial is scheduled for the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. To our mother and grandmother from all of your kids - "We will love and cherish you for the rest of our lives."
