Opal Lee Leach, 101, a resident of Albuquerque for 72 years, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006. She is survived by her two sons, Jack H. Leach and wife, Mary Ellen of Poquoson, VA and William L. Leach and wife, Mary of West Covina, CA; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Ethel Dever of Portales, NM. She is also survived by her nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews of the Dever family. Opal was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. She was also a member of the New Mexico Mountain Club. Opal was well known for her love of her garden and the outdoors. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
