Obituary for BUCKELEW

Wilfred F. Buckelew, III, 51, formerly of Albuquerque, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at his home in East Bradford, PA. He was the beloved husband of Mary Bellucci Buckelew, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Self employed as an arborist, he loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and skiing. He was born in Atlanta, GA, and was the son of Julia Moore Buckelew and the late Lt. Col. Wilfred F. Buckelew, Jr. He grew up in California, Texas, and Massachusetts, and attended the University of New Mexico. In addition to his wife, Mary, a professor at West Chester University, and mother, Julia, he is survived by a son, Sgt. Wil Buckelew, recently home from a tour of duty in Iraq; a daughter, Clare, a student at Penn State University; and a sister, Julie Buckelew Diebold, her husband, James, their two sons and a daughter, all of Denton, TX. He is also survived by his wife's nine siblings, their spouses and their 29 children who adored Uncle Fred, their favorite fisherman. He will be missed by surviving relatives in Arkansas and Louisiana, including grandmother, Glenna Moore, 93; three aunts, one uncle, seven cousins and their children. A Graveside Service was held Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Green Mount Cemetery in West Chester, PA.
