Eduardo Rene Guillen, age 45, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, peacefully joined his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 7, 2006. He was a part of the Channel 27 family for eight years and will be truly missed. His first love in life was his family, whom he did everything in his powers to help. Eduardo enjoyed all his electronic toys starting in the '70's with his first 8-track player in his car. He graduated from TVI with an Associates degree in Electronics. Eduardo always did the right thing with everyone. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. "See you at the Pearly Gates, Brother". Eduardo is preceded in death by his father, Margarito Serna; his dearest cousin, Oscar Guillen . He is survived by Tio Pedro "Papa "Guillen of Juarez, Mexico; his mother, Maria A. Guillen of Belen; his devoted and longtime companion of 3 years, Suzannah Salter of Belen; one son, Joshua Intermont of Belen; two brothers, Martin Reyes and Gilbert Reyes of Los Chavez; two sisters, Martha Hernandez and husband, Jessie of Rio Rancho, NM and Jessica Barraza and her husband, Julian of Belen; ten nieces and nephews and many more loving family members. His soul has been set free. His earthly remains returned to nature through cremation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Valencia Valley Church of the Nazarene in Los Lunas. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen.
