David Herrera went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2006 at the age of 71. He was born on August 3, 1934 in Maxwell, NM. Mr. Herrera is survived by his wife, Aurora Herrera; son, David John Herrera and wife, Miechelle; daughters, Teresa Martinez and husband, Robert, Leticia Grenrock and husband, Don, Sylvia Cisneros and husband, Tony and Sharon Rivera and husband, Alejandro; brother, Eugene Herrera and wife, Viola; sisters, Lucy Andrade and the late Dan Andrade, Annie Andrade and husband, Phil; twin sister, Eloisa Maes and husband, Ben, and Helen Cardenas and the late Frank Cardenas; and his eleven and a half grandchildren. David will be deeply missed by all. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Robert Martinez, Don Grenrock, Tony Cisneros, Alejandro Rivera, David John Herrera and Miguel Herrera.
