Carmen Y. Apodaca, 39, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 19, 2006. Carmen is the beloved mother to Michelle Apodaca and Freddie Padilla. She is also survived by one sister, Grace Sedillo; one brother, David Sedillo and wife, Shannon; a step-son, Freddy Apodaca; six grandchildren, Felix, Santana, Dezirae, Alexis, Mercedes, and Sarenity; and many other extended family members. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, David and Betty Sedillo; her husband, Joe L. Apodaca; and a son, Francisco Martinez. Carmen was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Eric Gomez, Jimmy Sedillo, Mario Apodaca, Vincent Apodaca, Larry Martinez, and Joey Lucero.
