Elizabeth Baca Lovato, 41, died Thursday, February 9, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Edward Lovato; sons, Josh, Chris and Dominic; parents, Nestor and Nellie Baca; siblings, Corkey and wife, Jena, Jay, Dennis and wife, Sharon; sister, Veronica and husband, Brian; 11 nieces and nephews; one great-niece; a very large loving extended family including Maria Lared, her dearest friend; and Edward's extended family at Santo Domingo Pueblo. Liz attended St. Therese Little Flower Catholic School. She graduated from Menaul High School in 1982, she earned her Master's Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico and then she earned her National Board Licensure in 2005. She taught school at Corrales Elementary School from 1991 to 2005 and then she taught at North Slope Borough School District from 2005 until the time of her death. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 3400 4th Street NW. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church.
