Albert James Faris was born May 16, 1924. Loving son of Florida and Said, husband, father, brother, and friend, he went to be with the Lord, Friday February 10, 2006. A lifelong resident of New Mexico, and a member of Iron Workers Local #495, Albert James Faris leaves many fond loving memories for his family members and friends. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bernie; three daughters, Elizabeth Ward and husband, James, Lorraine Blackman and husband, Miles, Joy Clark and husband, Mike; seven grandchildren, Rick Gonzales, James Ward Jr., Miles Lee Blackman Jr., Lauren Blackman, Jon Blackman, Miranda Clark, Jay Clark; two great-grandchildren, Sara Flores and Tobias Smotts; only surviving sister, Florence Faris; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families; past golfing buddies, fishing companions, and lifelong friends. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Ave SE , Rio Rancho, NM ( Across from Intel ) Ph: 892-1323, on Friday, February 17, 2006 11:30 a.m., with Senior Pastor, and nephew, Si Budagher officiating.
