Lewis M. Biggerstaff, 87, an Albuquerque resident since 1946, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2006. He is survived by his sons, William L. Biggerstaff and wife, Joy of Alamogordo, NM and Robert J. Biggerstaff of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Robert L. Biggerstaff, Christine Balderrama and Kimberly Mendoza; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Adrian, Bianca and Diego Balderrama and Dawson Mendoza; brother, James Biggerstaff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha. Mr. Biggerstaff was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Rio Grande Woodcarvers. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, February 8, 2006 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE.
