MARY C. Mrs. Mary C. Davis, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 31, 2006. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Betty Davis-Gonzalez, City Commissioner of Huntington Park, CA and husband, Rafael. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Starla Baca and husband, David, Jolene Hernandez and husband, Hector; one grandson, Rafael George Davis-Gonzalez of Huntington Park, CA; eight great-grandchildren, Pablo, Danny, Melissa, and Jennifer Hernandez, Alvina, Christopher, Cheyenne, Benally, and David Baca Jr.; one brother, Jesus (J.R.) Chavez and wife, Stella of Belen, NM; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Davis. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Catholic Church and a past member of the Legion of Mary. A visitation for Mrs. Davis will be Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. by Cherise Yund. A final visitation will be Saturday morning fro 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rafael Davis-Gonzalez, Dr. Raymond Sanchez, Ron Chavez, George Davis, Christopher Benally, Pablo Hernandez, and Danny Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gloria Yund, Marie Sanchez, Irene Sanchez, Petrita Kramer, Rhea Chavez, Florela Atler, Celina D. Raff, Anna Davis Walker, Mary C. Kuhn, and Perla O. Martinez.
