Wilbur Leroy Franich, born February 22, 1936 and raised in Albuquerque NM; died on January 31, 2006 of Lung cancer. He is survived by his seven adult children, Debra Archibeque, Gail Ortega, Billie Franich, Thomas Franich, George Franich, Carol Franich, and Janet Ramos; three brothers and one sister, Frank Franich, Donald Franich, James (Jimmy) Franich, Diana Franich; cousin, George Gulley was his best friend and always like a brother. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Wilbur was a devout Catholic, and will be missed. His spirit will live on in those who loved him. Rosary will be held Friday, February 3, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd SW; Albuquerque NM, followed by the Memorial Service. A reception for those who would like to attend will be at 5606 Greer Loop SW; Albuquerque, NM 87105.
