Harold A. Scripter, 97, of Rio Rancho and formerly of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2006. He was born Sunday, December 27, 1908, in Pleasanton, NE, to the late Harper and Anna Kunke Scripter. Mr. Scripter is survived by a son, Harold Scripter, and wife, Joan of Rio Rancho; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriett Scripter, in 1985. Mr. Scripter retired as an office manager from Kennedy Oil Company in Gallup, NM. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel with Pastor Brent Lenintine officiating.
