Obituary for BOWERSOCK

Pearl L. "Timmie" Bowersock, born February 21, 1914 in Collinsville, OK, died on Thursday, January 19, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Daman. She is survived by her sons, Bob Bowersock and wife, Sue, and Bill Bowersock and partner, Harvey Frand; granddaughters, Dana Bowersock and husband, Matt Ziegler and Leigh Neuschwander and husband, Michael; three great-grandchildren, Emma and Jackson Ziegler and Natalie Neuschwander. One of eight children of Pearl and Louis Isham, Timmie is also survived by her brother, Melvin Isham of Ft. Worth, TX; and many nieces and nephews. Timmie grew up in Dewey, OK and lived in Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Albuquerque, and Ft. Smith before retiring with Daman to Green Valley, AZ. She returned to Albuquerque in 2002 and continued her active life at La Vida Llena. Timmie enjoyed playing golf, fishing, singing, traveling, and being a banker's wife. She was woman of great faith and optimism. Her family thanks the staff of La Vida Llena and the Ministers and Deacons of First Presbyterian Church for their loving care. Services will be held Friday, January 27, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at La Vida Llena Retirement Center, 10501 Lagrima de Oro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111, (505) 296-6700. Her cremated remains will be interred in the spring when the flowers she loved are in bloom and our hearts are filled with renewal.
