Obituary for GRAY

Jesse L. Gray, of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006. Mr. Gray was born in Paducah, Texas January 14, 1921. He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the European Theatre of Command. He was a devoted Christian man who served in the Gideons, a founding member of Parkview Baptist Church, and more recently a member of Hoffmantown Church, where he was a deacon emeritus. Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anne Gray; sons, Tony and wife Joan, Jesse J. and wife Sally, Don and wife Stella; daughter-in-law, Patty; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Mark in June of 2005. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 18, at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with Pastor Ken Moore officiating with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary Westside Chapel Tuesday, January 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gideons International, C/O Robert Alvis, 3020 Camino Real Ct.
