Frances (Kika) R. Sanchez, born February 3, 1919, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2006. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Manuel Sanchez. She is survived by two daughters, Carmel S. Griego and Mary S. Cordova and her husband, Vince; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fela Duran (whom she raised) and Cipry Padilla; one brother, Amadeo S. Romero; and several loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 9, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 10 at San Isidro Catholic Church, Las Nutrias beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Las Nutrias Catholic Cemetery.
