Antonio Perea was born September 7, 1917 and passed away January 8, 2006. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Juan Perea and Felicita Mares; his wife of 50 years, Lala Perea; his sisters, Margarita Lucero and Celia Sanchez; brothers, Seferino Perea and Joseph Perea. Antonio is survived by his companion of many years, Amalia Aragon "Molly"; his children, Dahlia Gurule, Maria Hernandez, Gerenimo Perea and Georgina Nieto; brother, Heraldo Perea; sisters, Mable Marquez, Adelina Cordova, Amelia Garcia, Erminda Garcia, Francis Crespin and Viola Farfan; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Rd., with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2006. Burial will follow in the San Ysidro Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Louie Cordova, Rodney Ulibarri, Manuel "Marty" Montano, Bruce Gurule, Ernest Ernie Gurule, and Leonard Farfan.
