Obituary for ESQUIVEL

JOHNNIE M. Mr. Johnnie M. Esquivel, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 2, 2006 peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family. Mr. Esquivel is the beloved husband to Mrs. Jennie Esquivel married for 49 years. He is also survived by his two loving daughters, Yvonne Vigil and Diane Esquivel; one sister, Evelyn Gomez and husband, Jessie; two brothers, Nicky Esquivel and wife Ida and Salvador Esquivel; eight grandchildren, Misty, Vanessa, Christine, Richard, Cassandra, Rachel, Joseph, and Marianna; 12 great-grandchildren; one aunt, Irene Castillo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Esquivel was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Air Force, United States Army and the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam Era and the Korean Conflict. A visitation for Mr. Esquivel will be Sunday in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. by Mrs. Eileen Montoya. Final visitation will be Monday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors by the United States Air Force. Pallbearers will be Joseph Esquivel, Edward Turner, Greg Esquivel, Anthony Florez, Billy Vigil, and Misty Vigil. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
