Bill E. Aguirre, SMSgt (USAF Ret.), died Monday, January 2, 2006. He served his country with honor, in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years, having received the Air Force Meritorious Service, Joint Service and Air Force Commendation Medals; he retired from Civil Service after 15 years. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful servant of God. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Yolanda; two daughters, Yvonne Alvarez and Yvette Aguirre; two grandsons, Dominique Perez and his wife, Tiffanie, and Gabriel Alvarez; great-granddaughter, Trinity Perez; brothers and sisters, Hank, Lola, Gloria and Gilbert, Jr. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, with interment Monday, January 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
