Michael Payne, 46, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 2, 2006. He is survived by his parents, M.L. and Maxine Payne of Albuquerque; grandmother, Mary West of Clovis, NM; sister, Desaree Jimenez and husband, Del of Espanola, NM; nieces, Cassidy and Mariah Jimenez of Espanola, NM; and aunt, LaVerne Griggs and husband, Bill of Lubbock, TX. Michael was preceded in death by his niece, Sydney Whitfield. He was a member of Holiday Park Community Church of the Nazarene. Michael worked for many years as a systems engineer. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Holiday Park Community Church of the Nazarene, 11435 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating.
