Regina D. Montoya, 57, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006 surrounded by her family. Two major highlights in her life were her graduation from the University of New Mexico and having ten years of being clean and sober. Regina is survived by her father, Carlos M. Montoya; son, Jerry Reeder and wife, Janet, all of Albuquerque; brother, Patrick Montoya and wife, Marilyn, of Farmington; granddaughters, Julia and Jenna Reeder; nieces, Lori Edney, Danielle Edney, and Brittany Mirabal and husband, Stephen; and her loving dog, Buster. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1-800-ACS-2345, or to the AGORA-UNM Crisis Center, 277-3013.
