Janet Cowley Schwering, age 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Janet was preceded in death by husband, Paul B. Schwering in 1973; daughter,Mary J. Schwering in 2003; and a late-life partner, John Sintas in 2004. She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Schwering and wife, Terri of Golden, CO and Paul B. Schwering II and wife, Sharon of Las Vegas, NV; and two grandsons, Paul Schwering and Richard Schwering. Janet worked for the State of New Mexico where she retired in 1990 and was a member of the Queen of Heaven Church. Janet was also a loving and devoted mother. Visitation will take place Saturday December 31, 2005 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Chapel, Rosary to follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday January 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Chapel with interment following at Sunset Cemetery.
