George J. Torres, Sr. died prayerfully early in the morning on the Feast of the Holy Innocents, Wednesday, December 28, 2005. A Rosary will be prayed at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2005. Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Skinner Torres. He is survived by six children; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters; and six nieces and nephews.
