Ernest L. Martin Jr., 75 of Fountain Hills, AZ died December 22, 2005 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born in Bloomington, IN, Ernest graduated from University of New Mexico in 1952 and from Indiana University with a PHD in 1956. Worked at Shell Oil Co Laboratory, Houston, TX and Shell Oil Refinery, Norco, LA. in a Management position. Survived by his wife, Ruby; daughter, Joan L. Martin (Stephen); son, James S. Martin. Visitation and service was held on Monday, December 26, 2005 at Messinger Mortuary & Chapel, Fountain Hills, AZ; interment at Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, AZ.
