Denise "Dee" M. McConnell, 41, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1993, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2005. Dee was born January 31, 1964 the daughter of Ray and Sharon Hackathorn Heintzelman in Ohio. Dee had been a Veterinary Assistant in the Animal Care business before her death. She was a member of the Faith Evangelical Free Church of Rio Rancho. Dee is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, Don "Rusty" McConnell of Rio Rancho; one son, Tobias McConnell of Rio Rancho; father, Ray Heintzelman of Navarre, OH; mother, Sharon Sword of Navarre, OH; grandmother, Gladys Hackathorn of Navarre, OH; and one sister, Toni Dehru and husband Mark of Ohio. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2005 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Service for Dee will be held on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 900 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho with Pastor Tom Lambelet officiating.
