Jeanne Welch, 81, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in Albuquerque. She was born on January 17, 1924, in Omaha, NE to Pops Elikan and Henrietta Jacobson Elikan. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Homer Welch; her children, Aaron Siegel of Bedford, TX, Fred Siegel and spouse, Sherry of Los Lunas, NM, and Eric Siegel and spouse, Nancy of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by four grandchildren, David, Andy, and Kara Siegel, and Davine Sanchez; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Risse, Ethan, and Alyssa Sanchez. Jeanne enjoyed needlepoint and enjoyed volunteering her time for the Republican Party. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at the French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with J.R. Ruiz, officiating.
