Charles W. Berger, grandson of two pioneer New Mexico ranching families, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at the age of 74. He is survived by Ketta Berger, his wife of 47 years; children, Guy Berger and his wife, Daniela and their children, Diana Lynn and Peter Charles; Eric Berger and his wife, Jalene and their children, Kylee Jaei and Charlie Edward; and Greg Berger and his wife, Colleen and their children, Lindsey Nicole and Westin Charles; sister, Elizabeth Green; four nephews; and six nieces. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William "Butch" Berger, Roger Berger, Mark Del Frate, Brett Lambert, Vincent Medici, and Phil Mascarenas. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Weber, Paul Lambert, and Gino Del Frate. Additional honorary pallbearers will be the many friends whose lives were touched by Charlie.
