Wanda F. Ray, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 35 years, and coming to New Mexico from Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2005. Wanda was born November 20, 1942, the daughter of Dudley Jerry and Ruth Fay Hodge Sargent in Texas. She had worked as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry before her death. She last worked for Nissan. Wanda was a very religious person; she belonged to a Bible study; she also enjoyed attending plays and symphony concerts. Wanda loved being with people. She is survived by two sons, William Ray and his wife Valerie, and Michael Ray and his wife Nannette; one brother, Bill Sargent; and three grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, and Jesse. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. at the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 8600 Volcanes NW, Albuquerque.
