Avis Irene Burnett, 86, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, December 5, 2005. She is the wife of James Alan Burnett who preceded her in death. She is survived by her two sons, James Leon Burnett and wife, Sue of Phoenix, AZ and Rodger Alan Burnett and wife, Susan of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
