Mary Alice Clark, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and 48-year resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Mary Alice was born March 6, 1923 in Dry Fork, IN to Harley and Jane Reed. She was the youngest of three children: sister, Olive Matthews Holt and brother, Charles Reed, who preceded her in death. Mary Alice grew up on a farm in Indiana and graduated from Vevay High School in 1941. On March 6, 1943 she married her high school sweetheart, Ethol Burton Clark, who preceded her in death in 1988. Mary Alice moved to Albuquerque with husband and four children in 1958. There she made a home for her family who were her pride and joy. Through the years she was able to watch her children grow. She watched their accomplishments as they became husbands, wives, mothers and fathers. She enjoyed her friends in TOPS as well as her neighbors. When her grandchildren were little, she enjoyed baking cookies with them as well as attending school functions. Her trip to Hawaii with her husband and a cruise to Alaska with her daughter and son-in-law were the joys of her life.
