Manuel (Mel) F. Martinez, 80, a lifelong resident of Cuba, NM; a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 2, 2005, as a result of an accident. Final viewing will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM; where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m., with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Duran, Albert Jacquez, Jim Linnane, Matt O'Hearn, Duane Archuleta, and Kevin Duran. Honorary bearers will be Louis Salazar, Leandro Padilla, Eustacio Casaus, Richard Atencio, Eustacio Chavez, Denny Herrera, Mark Martinez, Jay Snow, and Frank Vigil.
