Gertrude Vigil December 4, 1908 - March 24, 1992 Abuelita Querida, FelĄz Cumplea¤os! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I remember your mischievous sense of humor. I remember your distinctive walk in your trademark high heels. I remember how proud you were of all of us. I remember how everyone was so welcome in your home, you always fed us somehow. . . You made the best homemade bread, tortillas and your famous "Trudy Burgers"! So much has happened that I wish I could share with you. I know you're watching over us from Heaven.
