Obituary for LOTITO

Rudolph Lotito, age 72, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Rudolph was born in Astoria, NY to Nicholas and Irmgard Lotito. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille Giacomo. Rudolph was the father to Tracy Lavoie, David Trovato, Roxanne Eukers, and Lisa Grassellino. He was the father figure to many: Frank Grassellino, Tony and Richard Loria, all of New York, Anthony and Kristi DiGiacomo of Houston, TX., Joseph Giacomo, Annette and Todd Underhill, and Michael and Michele Giacomo, all of Albuquerque, NM. He was dearly loved by his many grandchildren: Christopher Adamo and Frank Grassellino Jr., Alexandra and Devin of Connecticut, Nicholas and Jordan DiGiacomo, Giovanna Giacomo, Douglas and James Underhill, and Madison and Bianca Giacomo. He is survived by two brothers, Alfred Lotito and Robert Lotito; sister, Rosetta Carrol. Rudy had a great love of life and always looked at the positive side of things. He was a strong support, very patriotic, and a hero in our eyes. He was a Disabled American Veteran who lost his leg in the Korean War. He was awarded four purple hearts and numerous other medals during his service to his country and the United States Marine Corps. He never let his disability slow him down and most people who met him did not know he was disabled in any way. He was one of the most caring and loving individuals you could ever meet, and he will be missed very deeply by all. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 5, 2005, 11:30 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church with Father Anthony Romero, Celebrant. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Sunday, December 4, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans Association of NM, PO Box 3907, Station D, Albuquerque, NM 87190.
