Obituary for MCMASTER

Lois D. McMaster, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2005. She was born in Flushing, Long Island, New York on August 18, 1920. She served as Sunday School Superintendent and Girl Scout Troop Leader on Howard Air Force Base in the former Panama Canal Zone. In Albuquerque, she was neighborhood chairwoman for the Girl Scouts and a troop leader, served as secretary and treasurer of the Montgomery Elementary School PTA, program chairwoman for the American Business Women's Business Association, and worked for the former Ground Observer's Corps. Mrs. McMaster retired from Sears as a division manager in 1974. She was a member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church where she served in the Prayer Room. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, John Bruce McMaster of Albuquerque; son, Bruce McMaster; daughter, Vicki McFall, Wendy Orr and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Wendy McFall, Shannon Rhoades and husband, Courtney, Jesse Orr and wife, Marta, Jennifer Orr and John Orr; great-grandsons, Jonathan McFall and Tristan Zottneck; great-granddaughters, Kirstyn and Ashley Rhoades, all of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2005 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE with Pastor Ken Moore, officiating.
