Obituary for MADRID

Vincent Madrid passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the age of 65 due to complications of Parkinson's Disease. He was born August 19, 1940 in Tucumcari, NM to Vicente and Frances G. Madrid. He served in the U.S. Navy. He founded Madrid Manufacturing Inc. with his brothers. The glass company lead the way in the manufacturing and installation of insulated and thermalbreak replacement windows for over 25 years. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Patricia; his two sons, Steve A. and Phillip G. Madrid of Albuquerque; two daughters, Jeannie M. Duckworth of Albuquerque and Mrs. Judy M. McNabb and husband, Jeff of California; four grandchildren, Janelle R. and Jared B. McNabb, Jordan B. and Jaida R. Duckworth; his mother, Frances G. Quintana; two brothers, Nick B. Madrid and wife, Loretta, Edward J. Madrid and his companion, Anna Baca, all of Albuquerque; 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vicente and brother, Richard Madrid, who also suffered from Parkinson's. Friends and family may visit Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1936 Juan Tabo NE. Funeral Mass will be at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, at 11:30 a.m. this Thursday. Cremation to follow Services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Parkinson's Research organizations.
