Charles F. Bailey, 87, an Albuquerque resident since 1995, died Monday, November 14, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Gloria H. Bailey of Albuquerque; daughter, Karen C. Bailey-Bowman and husband, Robert S. of Lemitar, NM; grandson, Daniel Charles Bowman of St. Paul, MN; step-daughters, Marjie B. Foster and husband, Jim Berry of Gunnison, CO, Linda Lee Gilmore of Albuquerque, and Jean Schumacher of Albuquerque; step-sons, Steve C. Foster of Corpus Christi, TX and John C. Foster and wife, Teresa A., of Albuquerque; step-grandchildren, Christopher Hinz, Molly Foster, and Zachary Foster all of Albuquerque; cousins, James Bailey of Lincoln, NE, Jim and Isabel Reed of Santa Ana, CA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary R. Bailey; sister, Gladys Bailey; and two infant siblings. Mr. Bailey retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 22 years of service with the U.S. Navy and he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and WWII. He later retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a civilian customs inspector at the Port of Los Angeles, CA. He was a loving husband and father who had a very good memory. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
