Thomas S. Oglesby passed away on November 8, 2005. Thomas was born on June 20, 1935 in Waxahachie, Texas. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Oglesby is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jannett Oglesby; son, Scott Oglesby of Albuquerque; and daughter, Jill Oglesby of Los Lunas, NM. He attended Rice University, the University of Texas and the University of New Mexico. After employment with Sandia Laboratories for 30 years, he retired in 1992. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed activities such as sports (University's Lady Lobos), travel, reading mysteries, hiking in the New Mexico mountains, playing bridge, and working crosswords. A visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2005, also at Chapel of Sunrise. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2005 at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
