Chloe N. "Virginia" Buell, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 29 years, died November 8, 2005 at her home in northwest Albuquerque. Virginia lost in her struggle with cancer, dying from complications after surgery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard K. "Bud" Buell, Lt. Colonel USA (Ret.) She is survived by her son, Brett K. Buell and wife, Sandy Buell; daughter, Dorothy Melloy and husband, Bill Melloy; grandson, Justin Melloy and granddaughter, Chloe Melloy all of Albuquerque. Virginia spent her final hours in her home under the loving care of her faithful family. Virginia's lifelong enjoyments included a passion for cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, and over the last few years, being "Nana." Virginia was an exemplary lady who lived life with great style, dignity and poise. She left an imprint on the hearts of family and friends and will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts, our minds and our loving memories. Mom, we love you with our hearts, souls and bellybuttons. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
