Jane Elizabeth August 12, 1934 - October 30, 2005 Jane Elizabeth Vanroekel passed away on October 30, 2005 after a long struggle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Seppala and her mother, Eunice Frevert. She is survived by her father, Merrill Frevert; sister, Elaine Wick; brother, Tom Frevert; daughters, Marla Smith and Leeann Carl; grandchildren, Erik Runion, Laura Leazier, Dianna Leazier, and Daniel Carl. She graduated from Northwest University with a Mastter's in music. She taught music for many years, earned her Master's in counseling, and was a school counselor for 16 years. While living in California, she played the clarinet in the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra and the Redlands Bowl Orchestra. She sang in the Inland Master Chorale and performed in Carnagie Hall and Washington Cathedral. She moved to Albuquerque in 1998 to be near her family. She was very active in her church, First Church of Religious Science where she was a practitioner. She will be deeply missed. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, October 9, 2005, 2:00 p.m., First Church of Religious Science, 3320 San Pedro NE, 881-4311. Donations and flowers to church.
