Lena Frances Sitts, 95, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at her home, Sandia Springs in Rio Rancho. Lena is survived by her stepdaughter, Evelyn Plummer and husband, Ed; stepson, Gordon Sitts and wife, Sandy; foster daughter, Marlene Kimball and husband, Les; grandchildren, Laura Ann Ayres, Jane Drummond Malarky, Margaret Drummond, John Drummond, Margaret Plummer, David Plummer, Mary Plummer, Pamela Dellinger, Erlon Kimball and Rick Kimball; ten great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and many dear friends. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Sitts and daughter, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hannefey Drummond. Lena was employed by Sandia National Labs for many years. She was a life member of Yucca Temple No.74 Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Shrine Honored Ladies. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ambercare Home Health and Home Instead Senior Care for their care and support.
