Paul J. Hisey, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005. His wife of 53 years, Dorothy Ruth Hisey, preceded him in death in 1993. He is survived by his four children, David P. Hisey, M.D. and his wife, Lexa, of Tucson, AZ, Douglas J. Hisey of Las Cruces, NM, Joanne L. Achen of Las Cruces, NM, and Allan J. Hisey and his wife, Janet, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Todd Hisey and wife, Laura, Brad Hisey, Carrie Achen, Scott Achen, Lauren Ogle and husband, Justin, and Andrew Hisey; and great-granddaughter, Alexa Hisey. Paul was born on December 24, 1910 in Terre Haute, IN. He attended Indiana State University and was employed at Hulman Company in Terre Haute, rising to the position of company cashier. Paul and his family moved to Albuquerque in 1950 to pursue Paul's lifetime interest, residential construction and remodeling. After retirement as a home builder and general contractor, he spent many years as a compliance inspector for the VA and FHA. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2005, 2:00 p.m., at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
