Obituary for PADILLA

Rayne "Ray" Padilla, 49, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Monday, October 24, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Linda Padilla; daughters, Annjanette Ellsworth and husband, Ryan, and Deanne Padilla, all of Albuquerque; mother, Nora Padilla of Albuquerque; siblings, Floyd Padilla and wife, Helen, Flora Garcia and husband, Raul, Orlando Padilla, Agneda Casaus, Victor Padilla and wife, Margaret, Vera Estrada and husband, David, Marie Louise Villanueva and husband, Joe, Judy Myklak and husband, Robert, and Larry Padilla and wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Cecilia Padilla; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Padilla; brothers, Gilbert Padilla, Larry Padilla, and Daniel Padilla. He was born and raised in Santa Rosa, NM. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1975 where he was very active in football, basketball, and track. He was the owner of Integrity Mechanical & Resources which he started in 1992 and continued to run until his death. Ray loved to minister to others whether it was at work or on the street. The thing he looked forward to the most in life was to be with his Lord. He was a loving husband, and a faithful father who was compassionate and gentle to all he met. Ray cherished his relationships he had with his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. One of Rayne's favorite scriptures, Romans 8:28, proves itself true, even in his death. "And we know that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and to those who are called according to His purpose." Rayne's desire is that all would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Your family will surely miss you! Funeral Services were held Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 11:00 am at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE, with Pastor Neil Ortiz officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
