Obituary for MORGAN

Anneliese M. Morgan, career military wife, was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 26, 1926 and resided in Albuquerque for over 37 years. She passed away on October 19, 2005. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend and had a natural ability for welcoming everyone into her circle and putting them at ease. A gourmet cook, Anneliese was a gracious hostess with a kind and generous heart. Her singing brought joy to many. Anneliese spoke several languages fluently. She was a sponsor for the International Visitors Bureau and a strong supporter of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She served several terms as an officer of the Resident Council for the Woodmark at Uptown. She touched hearts and minds through her many travels. Anneliese was vocal in her gratitude and appreciation of life, and her unconditional love of all. She was preceded in death by parents: Paul and Theresia Kratt; and her husband of 54 years, Walter D. Morgan Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara A. Morgan of Embudo, NM, Jean M. Vance of St. John, Virgin Islands, Annelie Gallea of Albuquerque, NM; her grandsons, Matthew Vance (Amanda) of Austin, TX and Eric Gallea (Brenda) of Gallup, NM; and great-grandson, Caiden Gallea of Gallup, NM. A Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
