Eufracia (Frazie) A. Romero, passed away October 21, 2005. She was preceded in death by her very loving husband of 60 years, Frank, and her son, Frank Jr. Frazie was born to Arsenio and Esther (Gutierrez) Armijo in Corrales, NM, on April 10, 1925. She is one of the original founding families of Corrales. After retiring from civil service, Frazie enjoyed traveling with her husband. Our mother and grandmother was a loving inspiration. She was a driving force who will be greatly missed and who will live forever in our hearts and lives. Frazie is survived by: her daughters, Esther Otero and husband, Donn, Victoria Caldwell and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Joanne Brown and husband, Ken, Frank "Art" Otero, Erica Sweeney and husband, Brian, and Daniel and Ryan Segal; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Paul, Austin, Hailey, and Aidan; her sisters, Fita and husband, Valentin Leal, Lory Trujillo; and her brother, Joe Armijo and wife, Mary; and special family friend, Mary Griego. Frazie's family extends their special thanks to the Rio Rancho Share Your Care and to Odyssey Hospice. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. in Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho. Rosary will be recited Monday, October 24, at 7 p.m. in Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, October 25, at 10 a.m. in San Ysidro Parish, 5005 Corrales Rd., with Father Clarence Galli as celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE in Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be: Frank Otero, Daniel Segal, Andrew Leal, Christopher Garcia, Dennis Sanchez, and Hilario Montano, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be: Joe Armijo, Ken Brown, Brian Sweeney, Donn Shadle and Charles Caldwell.
