Macario (Max) Montoya, age 92, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called home by the Lord, Thursday, October 20, 2005, while surrounded by his loving family. Max was born in Chilili, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque and a member of the SNMDMP #2 Alameda. He is survived by his wife, Sinforosa; his children, Mike (Montoya) Martinez, of Martinez CA, Joe Prospero Montoya, of Albuquerque, NM, Gilbert Montoya of Albuquerque, NM , Henry Montoya, Mary Lou Garcia of Rio Rancho, NM, Pauline Garcia of Alameda, and Rita Eberting of Albuquerque; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Alameda. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ray Montoya, Paul Montoya, Donald Montoya, Willie Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, and Freddie Ramirez.
