Obituary for LUCERO

Celia O. Lucero, 88, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Bella Vigil and husband, Leonard and Mary Lucero, both of Albuquerque; five sons, Roberto Lucero of Albuquerque, Lee Lucero and wife, Nora of Colorado, Martin Lucero and wife, Antonette of Albuquerque, Henry Lucero of Kentucky, and Philip Lucero of Arizona; two sisters, Mary Duran and Rose Torrez, both of Albuquerque; one brother, Luis Ortiz of Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Lee J. Lucero in 1995. Celia belonged to the Legion of Mary. Pallbearers are Delbert Vigil, Leonard Vigil, Jonathan Lucero, Eldon Lucero, Arthur Lucero and Gabriel Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers are Joaquin Lucero and Michael Lucero. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7:00 on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary.
